As Financial Planning Manager, Richard is responsible for higher level financial plan modeling that effectively integrates relevant financial planning concepts into financial plans that conform to each client’s needs and context, while remaining robust and flexible.
Richard graduated from Carleton College in 2011 with a degree in American Studies and spent the next year teaching in Minnesota with a license in secondary Social Studies. He had a particular interest in the problem-solving skills and decision-making tools of the economic way of thinking. This led him to pursue a career in the financial planning profession, in which he aims to help clients understand and take control of their financial decisions.
On a Personal Note:
Richard lives in Chicago with his wife, Jackie. They enjoy traveling to Door County (Wisconsin), running, listening to NPR, and watching movies together. Richard also enjoys applying economic ways of thinking to sports and reading about a variety of topics.
