Hi, I’m Josh Markowitz, and I’m a Financial Planner with The Next Level Planning Group.

Most clients who come to me have already done a measure of planning, such as with an accountant, attorney, and other professionals. They recognize that with success comes responsibility and want to be good stewards for themselves and their families. Yet, they still lack clarity: on where exactly they are, where they’re headed given their present arrangements, where they could go instead (if they only knew all the worthwhile options), and what they truly need to achieve what they ultimately want.

Working together, I help clients rise above the din, to a space where we can think expansively and creatively. While there, we get clear on objectives, confirm the key facts, craft advice, and catalyze the actions necessary to align resources with vision in ways that are realistic, intelligent, and refreshingly tangible. With this framework in place, we stay in close contact, collaborate with the rest of the advisory team, and continue to seek the best paths forward as circumstances and the external environment change.

I live in Chicago with my wife, Anna. Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring new interests in photography, theater, cooking, reading, and sports. That curiosity has always shaped how I learn, connect, and plan, and it’s the same energy I bring into my work with clients.
